The story of Duelist began long ago, after a duel against the Emperor’s cousin made an end of his halcyon years of youth and the hero was exiled. Duelist fared all around the country, mastering new skills.

He gained his victories not only by sheer force and artistic sword play, but also due to his alchemy proficiency, which enabled to turn the tide of battle in favour of the hero, knocking enemies back on their heels with unexpected maneuvers.

Upon entering into the Imperium service, Duelist received the chance to polish up his skills on soldiers of the enemy army.
