Before the war, Dahaka was an ordinary man, an independent landlord. The Imperium occupied his land and portioned it out to a new lord. Dahaka accorded a hearty welcome, but attacked the new landlord at night and was overwhelmed.

The Lord offered him two options: to take the Prime or accept death. Dahaka chose the Prime, and it gave him an unprecedented power. He did not oppose the rule of the Lord any more and went to fight for the good of the Imperium.

The mysterious rituals help Dahaka to deprive enemies of their strength and hide in the darkness.
